Currinda Wotif integration for events accommodation
The Currinda Wotif integration allows event delegates and guests to search, compare and select their preferred accommodation option from their normal event registration login. This is an optional feature of Currinda’s event registration platform, available to event administrators free of charge.
Your event administrator may choose to include the Wotif integration with the traditional method of room block allocations from selected hotels, or they may choose the Wotif integration alone.
Note that the Currinda Wotif integration for events accommodation is an optional setting for the event organiser in their administrator portal. Administrator settings are explained in this Help Article.
Where both accommodation selection methods are available, the Accommodation screen of your registration portal will feature the Wotif integration near the top of your screen , with selection fields to assist your accommodation search (Check-in; Check-out; Guests; and Minimum Rating).
Entering your selection fields and ‘Search’ will populate the map view with your accommodation options, showing as pinned locations on your map.
Note that the accompanying map feature can be toggled ‘off’ to show the List View of the hotels found. Also, you can toggle your map to a full-screen view.
Clicking a pin will display an information card for the corresponding search result. You can scroll down the card to reveal the venue description and distance from your event venue.
Clicking the ‘Book Now’ button will open your selection in a new browser, allowing you to proceed smoothly through your accommodation booking with Wotif (your Currinda portal remains open for you to finalise registration).
Administrators: Ensure your delegates will understand that Wotif opens in a new window and they’ll need to return to their Currinda portal to finalise registration after completing Wotif accommodation.
Remember that your accommodation booking will be integrated with all your registration information on Currinda. This means the Event Administration team can stay up to date with your existing arragements and may be better able to help you if your needs or circumstances change later.
Important note for event managers: the Currinda Wotif integration allows Currinda’s customers to receive percentage-based financial commission on accommodation booked by their delegates/guests via the integrated Wotif solution. To manage, claim and track your commission earnings, you will need to complete a simple sign up process for creation of your own Currinda Wotif dashboard portal.
