Adding Extras to your Memberships

Currinda enables enormous flexibility for your organisation's membership structure, and member options, through adding 'Extras' to your Memberships setup.  The Extras tool is located under the Extras tab on your horizontal tabs menu (Setup > Extras).Hint: Extras also provides excellent versatility to Event setups - more information is available here.Extras are essentially questions asked of your members.  The Administrator sets the information requirements, which can be configured in up to ten response formats, including document/image uploads.  Extras questions can be Mandatory or non-mandatory.extras-associationsTIP: Each Extra can be linked to any other field of information - Organisation Addon, Membership Category, or Membership Type - for enormous flexibility to configure your Organisation's memberships and structure for your exact requirements.  If you need our help to work out the best application of the Extras tool for your organisation, contact our Online Help Desk or email support@currinda.com.Currinda's Extras form includes the options 'Make Admin Only' and 'Make Admin Readable', which administrators may use to render an Extras item editable and/or viewable only by the administrators.  This feature can be usefully applied to issues such as membership audits and qualification checks etc.Also, remember that your Extras questions may be flexibly configured to appear at different stages of the member signup process.Some examples of Extras items may be:

  1. "What is your highest qualification?"
  2. "Which course/institution did you graduate?"
  3. "Please attach your qualifications/certification"
  4. "Please attach supporting documentation"
